Sunday Service @ 10:00 am
1. We Value God's Word.
The Word of God - the Holy Bible - is our final authority and source for life guidance, calling us to a faith-filled, obedient, godly lifestyle. Therefore a regular routine of reading and writing God's word is essential to a growing, fruitful life. (Hebrews 4:12)
2. We Value Worship
The worship of God is pursued with biblically-motivated zeal and offered in reverence with humility, childlikeness and joyfulness. (John 4:23-24)
3. We Value Prayer
Steadfast prayer and faithful intercession allow us to enter a partnership with God Almighty and they are the foundational means of our personal and corporate fruitfulness in life, service and ministry. (Ephesians 6:18)
4. We Value a Nurturing Environment and Attitude
A Holy Spirit - formed climate of God's love is that atmosphere which most readily fosters living hope, true health and produces practical holiness as the Cross of Christ points us to a path of discipleship and a life free of guilt and condemnation - at rest in God's grace. (Ephesians 4:15-16)
5. We Value Every Person, Christian and non-Christian as Significant to God.
Because people are eternally valuable to God, they are to us as well. Under God, our creator, ethnic diversity is respected and under Christ our Redeemer, all humanity is invited to answer the Bible's call to the values and virtues of Christ Jesus. (Luke 19:10; 2 Peter 3:9)
6. We Value Living the Gospel as a Living Letter to People.
Because people reach people, every believer should develop genuine relationships with friends and family and live the gospel openly, in a relevant, natural lifestyle that results in others desiring to know Christ. (Colossians 4:5-6; 2 Corinthians 3:2-3)
7. We Value a Lifestyle of Consistent Spiritual Growth with Honest Accountability.
A genuine love for God is always the first priority. Every Christian should yearn for continual spiritual growth. Therefore, discipleship through small groups, accountability, and open honesty is critical to maturing in our faith. (1Timothy 4:7, 8; Proverbs 27:17)
8. We Value Every Member as a Minister
Each believer has gifts to be discovered, developed, and released and people will find their greatest joy and fulfillment when serving in their spiritual gifts and passion. Every believer is created for purpose, gifted for ministry, released to serve, and valued in their service. (Mark 10:45; Ephesians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 12:14-20)
9. We Value Genuine Love and Caring Relationships
Refusing to give audience to a spirit of complaining, we will instead be courageous in solving every problem in a way that honors God and builds biblical character. We value healthy relationships by protecting the unity of the Spirit in our church. (1 Peter 3:8, 9; John 13:34; 1Corinthians 13; Romans 16:17; Ephesians 4:3)
10. We Value Giving God Our Very Best.
A growing spirit of excellence should permeate every activity. Not striving for human perfection but excellence with consistent evaluation and a willingness to improve for the sake of the Kingdom of God. (Psalm 78:72; Daniel 5:12; Colossians 3:17; Ecclesiastes 10:10)
11. We Value Giving and Stewardship
To live is to give - in tithes, offerings, and all of life's resources. We steward of what we have been given; of time, gifts and finances, seeing these as being from God's hand, yet ours to obediently distribute with a genuine joyfulness. (James 1:16-18; Luke 6:38)
