Gatherings

The people you will, encounter at The Walk are from all walks of life and the most important thing to know is that there is a place for you! You will not find cliques or unsociable, uncaring people. You absolutely will discover genuine, ordinary people, who are sincerely welcoming and eager for friendship. People who have experienced the touch of Jesus Christ and His mercy and faithfulness.

When The Walk meets for a Sunday gathering we all try to come with an attitude of expectancy. We desire to worship and praise The Almighty with passion and sincerity, giving thanks, growing in faith, declaring our trust in the one to whom we commit our lives, to Jesus The Lord. Something wonderful takes place in the life of the person worships God in "Spirit and in Truth", as the Bible says; which is why worship and praise is such an important element of our gatherings.

The talks given on Sunday are not dreadful laborious diatribes of hear ye's and thou shalts. Rather that scripture is presented in clear and meaningful ways intended for each one to glean and apply in their daily life. The Bible is so incredibly relevant to our life today. The Pastors and leadership team of The Walk are committed to seeing people equipped to Live the Gospel, to walk the walk if you will. Walking the walk does not simply happen, it is developed, sustained and strengthened through the Scriptures.
