Student Ministries
At The Walk, we have a special interest in equipping high school and middle school and college students to live the Gospel. Our team of student leaders are college students and young professionals who are passionate about serving, leading by example and pursuing relationship with Christ. The Pursuit is a unique program created for middle school and high school students that uses out of the box strategies to engage students and help them discover the plan God has for their life and the power to walk it out. The college and career group focuses on providing young adults and professionals with practical tools to equip them, spiritually and emotionally, to meet the challenges that surround their changing lives and encourage them to live the Gospel passionately.
With unique challenges facing this generation we are reaching out and communicating in ways that are effective and current. The message is this, "PURSUE GOD." Middle School and High School students are invited to join our student leaders on a journey of discovering themselves and who they are in Christ. As recent college graduates, our leaders are living lives that are effective and relevant in today's culture. Despite the challenges that many students and teenagers face, we are passionate about choosing to serve the Lord in the midst of a chaotic world. Our goal is to partner with students and provide them with practical insight that will equip them to walk through life with a growing passion and reliance upon Jesus.
College students face particular challenges in this most important and crucial junction in life. College students at The Walk will find practical support and people who will invest time and energy to helping them become successful in life and faith. Statistics indicate that many young people leave their Christianity behind after their high school years. Our desire is to provide college students and young adults with life-giving tools that will enable them to walk in the ways of the Lord.
