Imagine living without the Lord

I know one thing for sure, had I not surrender my life to Jesus at the age of 18; I would not be alive today. I would have gone the way of many friends I had at that time, living for the moment, caught up with alcohol and drugs, I would have died young and without Jesus.

When we have walked with Jesus for some years, it is easy to forget that we were once without hope and without God in this world. The apostle Paul admonishes us this way

"Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world."

We must never forget what life would be like without Jesus so we can have a passion, and compassion, towards those who have yet to discover His love. We are to be ambassadors of Jesus, living letters of the love of God for humanity. Each of us can testify of what He has done for us and invite others to experience the power of God through Jesus Christ just as we have. Never forget what life would be like without God in this world.
